I graduated from Texas A&M Commerce with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with Early Childhood Specialization.

This is my 25^th year of teaching and I am so glad that I am blessed to work with Kindergarteners at Higgins Elementary. I am an early childhood specialist and have worked with Prek- 3^rd grade. I believe that children need consistent, positive role models in their lives. It takes a team to benefit the children. 2021-2022 is going to be a great school year.

I have been married to Carl for 41 years. We have 3 grown children and 9 grandchildren. Our youngest son is in the US Navy in Virginia and our middle son is an Associate Pastor in Lubbock, TX.

Max is our German Shepherd that has helped us through empty nest syndrome. :) He is about 13 years old and thinks he is our child.
