About Me

Education

Educational History:

I graduated from North Lamar ISD and went on to PJC and Texas A&M Commerce.

Degrees and Certifications:

I have a degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Early Childhood. 

I am also certified to teach ESL and SPED students. 

Professional Development:

I attend our required back to school professional development each year. I also attend workshops, meetings and conferences throughout the year. 

Current Position:

I started teaching at North Lamar in 2002.

I have been with North Lamar for 22 years. 

I currenty teach Kindergarten. 

Previous Position:

I haven’t taught anywhere else. North Lamar is my home! 

I started teaching 3rd grade at Everett for one year, then I taught 1st grade for four years. After that, I moved to kindergarten and have been there since. 

Family Information:

I have been married for 11 years now. 
I have three sons. 
Wyatt is in 5th grade and Granger is in 2nd grade.  Jasper is pre-k. 
We have a cat named Scooter Boots.

Personal Information:

I love spending time with my family! We like to play games, go to church and do things outdoors like ride four wheelers or dirt bikes.
