I have been teaching for 7 years.  This is my first year at Higgins.  I have taught first, third and fourth grades.  I am currently teaching first grade.  

My husband, Ryan, and I have three children.  Two of our children go to school here in North Lamar and one will be here in a couple years.   We have three dogs and four chickens.  

I love to read, play card games and travel.  I try to make it to the beach every year.
